COMPETITION - TENSTELLATION
People have used constellation for a lot of things like agriculture, navigation, story making and astrology from ancient time. Though constellations are just an imaginary outlines, they had born people’s knowledge and imagination. These intangible derivatives last through ages and give more meaning to the night sky.
Tensegrity structure as a physical hemisphere will represents the night sky. A bright flash from mirrors will invite you into the space as the stars invite to stargaze. Once you enter, constellations as colored pipe trails will fly over you. Among them will be able to find written stories, hopes and dreams that will show you the intangible world of knowledge and imagination.
Our main aim is take up the significance of the derivatives that constellations have created and to remind people that the space between stars is not an empty space but a space with full of meanings.
