Competition - Rehabilitation Project of Cathedral zone, Porto, Portugal

The Cathedral zone of Porto city has attractive spaces on the hill. However, tourists visit only the Cathedral zone and Rebeira zone respectively located on the top and bottom of the hill, neglecting the area between the two zones. It leads to the formation of abandoned houses, full or crime and drug problems at intermediate area.
In this proposal, taking advantage of the abandoned houses, we proposed several pass way with shops, housing, and theater. This passage changes this zone makes it more accessible and consequently contributes to reducing the crime.
