Sabiamente is a study center where they help the children with their study, gives language classes for foreigners and illiteracy. Starting from rehabilitation of a three stories long-time-abandoned house in the city center of Porto, we integrated following programs: reception, two explanation rooms for small children, two class rooms, three private explanation rooms, and a house of the school owner.
Before the construction, an analysis of the existing structure was taken place. The building has a historical value, thus several elements like
stone wall, structural beam, and truss of the roof remained exposed. The façade, the wooden door and the windows are recovered into their original design.
